Parliament

 

The parliament section contains a listing of all current members of parliament including party representation, ministerial portfolio listings, Cabinet Committee details including full ministerial membership for each committee and a brief description of the role of the committee, Select Committee details including full membership for each committee and a brief description of the role of the committee and a House seating planning with party affiliations.

 

Where relevant individual MP’s have displayed links to their daily press releases, Twitter feeds, parliamentary and electorate contact details and key staff.

 

 

Government Departments

 

This section contains the 35 core government departments and ministries that constitute the New Zealand Public Service as defined in the State Sector Act 1998. 

 

 

Government Organisations

 

This section features a number of different types of government organisation including: Crown entities, Officers of Parliament, State-owned enterprises, and other government-owned businesses.

Where appropriate, entries include wholly-owned subsidiaries and subsidiaries in which the listed organisation has a significant financial interest, as well as any significant statutory or advisory committees that the listed organisation administers.
